Companies overlook risk of cybercrime, PwC says

Companies need to rethink their approach to IT security to protect themselves from cybercrime, according to a report from PricewaterhouseCoopers. Sixty percent of survey respondents fail to monitor social media use, and 40% lack training in cybersecurity. Cybercrime is one of four top economic risks facing companies, but too many treat it solely as an IT issue, PwC said.
