Malls make up the changing face of Russian retail

Russia's middle class is on the rise, fueling growth of enclosed malls including 82 in Moscow at last count. Real estate investors are finding a multitude of opportunities as consumers' disposable income rises, new government policies favor the middle class and Russians spend about 60% of their pretax income on retail purchases, including food.
