Soy Milk Basks In Newfound Popularity

Soy milk producers began to pit their product against dairy milk five years ago and have since implemented new processing methods to remove a "beany" flavor. Sales in the U.S. grew from $1.5 million in 1980 to $550 million in 2001, according to San Francisco-based market research firm SPINS.
