Out leader of AIDS group wins knighthood in Britain

Nick Partridge, the out chief executive of the Terrence Higgins Trust, the first British group to be created to offer HIV/AIDS services, has been made a knight. "It is remarkably significant that someone who has worked so hard in the HIV sector has finally been recognized," said Edwin J. Bernard, editor of HIV Treatment Update.
