Diets high in trans fats linked to Alzheimer's-associated condition

Researchers say that elderly people with diets high in trans fats are more likely to experience a certain type of brain shrinkage associated with Alzheimer's disease. Meanwhile, diets high in vitamins B, C, D and E as well as omega-3 fatty acids provided certain positive effects for the brain. The study was published in the journal Neurology.
