Implementation of ICD-10 could be a job creator in health care this year, increasing the demand for certification, new medical coders and trainers, according to the ICD10Watch blog. The implementation may not be on the political radar, but its delay or repeal could be a Republican bargaining chip in the approval process for CMS administrator nominee Marilyn Tavenner or in budget negotiations.
