DJO unit acquires maker of waterproof cast technology

A unit of DJO Global has agreed to pay an undisclosed sum to acquire Exos, maker of waterproof technology designed to replace plaster casts and splints. DJO, which specializes in pain management and orthopedic devices, has been Exos' exclusive distributor since 2011 and plans to develop more products with the waterproof technology.
