NASA receives reprieve from sequestration

NASA will not face budget cuts for two more months after Congress passed legislation to avert the "fiscal cliff." Military space programs also received a reprieve, as sequestration was postponed to March 1. NASA will face an 8.2% reduction in its budget if sequestration comes to pass.
