Texas districts adopt online curriculum management program

Many Texas school districts are using an online curriculum management system, known as CSCOPE, to help teachers ensure they have covered material students likely are to encounter on new state tests to be implemented in 2012. The system offers teachers timelines for covering material and suggested lesson plans for students who have fallen behind. However, some teachers are concerned the program offers little flexibility and -- in some cases -- lacks substance.
