N.Y. court finds developer guilty in stormwater case

A New York state court found a subdivision developer guilty of criminal and civil contempt in connection with unmet requirements for stormwater permitting at a proposed subdivision. The court ordered the company to pay $60,000 for the contempt charges and $75,000 for failure to comply with requirements for site inspections and retention-pond plans, among others.
