Would getting a standing desk make you healthier and more active at work? Probably not, according to Susy Jackson, who used herself as a guinea pig and monitored her activity level while using a desk chair, a yoga ball and a standing desk. "In the end I found that whatever configuration I used, I only hovered around 2,500 steps in the office during a typical workday," she writes.
