Pa. city aims to generate $600,000 with amusement tax

The Bethlehem, Pa., City Council unanimously passed a 5% amusement tax that applies to event tickets that cost more than $10. The council expects the tax to bring in about $600,000. The maximum that can be charged is $1.50 per ticket. It is unclear whether event producers or users will shoulder the cost.
