CBS to staff all-news station in nation's capital with new, familiar names

CBS Radio plans to use a mix of newcomers and Washington, D.C., area broadcast veterans for its all news WNEW-FM, which is taking on Hubbard Broadcasting powerhouse WTOP-FM. Among the anchors and personalities will be WTOP and WRC-AM alumnus Evan Haning; Nancy Lyons, who most recently worked as a local anchor on NPR's "Weekend All Things Considered"; and Jenny Glick, the former main news anchor for WBAL-AM in Baltimore.
