Shale gas bolsters U.S. chemical outlook for 2013-15

The U.S. chemical industry may perform better in 2013 than other mature markets because of the advantages afforded it by shale natural gas. The American Chemistry Council projects that production could increase by as much as "2.9% in 2013 and 5.4% in 2014 before reaching a peak of 5% in 2015," writes Sean Milmo.
