Students increasingly connect with colleges online

Colleges nationwide are increasingly moving the college-fair experience online, using chat rooms accessible from their websites to answer questions and reach potential applicants. "As high school students change in how they're getting their information, it's important for us to make those changes as well," Emily Engelschall, director of undergraduate admissions at the University of California, Riverside, said, adding: "Students feel more comfortable in that environment."
