Colo. algae developer to go commercial in 2 to 4 years, CEO says

Colorado-based Solix Biofuels continues to deliver algae-based biofuel to potential partners for testing despite the slower pace of algae production in winter, said CEO Doug Henston. "We are very pleased with scale-up of production," said Henston of the company's 6-month-old demonstration plant in Coyote Gulch. Depending on how quickly partners choose the technology, Solix plans to have a commercial-scale facility within two to four years, he added.
