Meditation helps ADHD children relax, concentrate

Researchers say a small pilot study using transcendental meditation in children with ADHD found it helped calm anxiety and improve behavior and concentration. The study demonstrated that children can learn and benefit from the simple meditation technique, which experts say affects breathing, blood vessel dilation and stress-hormone regulation.
