Physicians say too many babies get acid reflux diagnosis

There is growing concern that physicians are overdiagnosing babies with gastroesophageal reflux disease when they really may have an allergy or may just be constipated. More infants are being prescribed acid reflux medications, but there has been little study of the effects of the drugs in children younger than 1 year.
