Advocates lobby for bill to delay new EPA sewer rules in N.J.

New Jersey wants to grow but could find itself running afoul of the Clean Water Act, according to the Environmental Protection Agency. Developers and others in the state want to delay implementation of new limits on sewer extension systems as a temporary measure to help bolster the recession-weary construction industry. Without an extension of sewer lines, new subdivisions and shopping centers could not be built.
