Former BASF CEO to wait a bit longer to try to join board

Former BASF CEO Juergen Hambrecht will delay trying to join the company's board of directors until 2014. German law requires a two-year "cooling-off" period before management can move to the board. Hambrecht left in 2011. "I have cooled off for almost two years, so it doesn't make much difference if I do it for three," he said.
