CDC: Influenza season hasn't peaked yet

Although five states are no longer reporting widespread outbreaks of influenza, 42 other states still are and the CDC says its urging the public to remain on the alert about the health situation. "Influenza-like illnesses are still on the rise," a CDC flu expert said about the nation's overall outlook.
