Bill raising NFIP's borrowing limit gets Obama's signature

President Barack Obama has given his signature to a measure that increases the National Flood Insurance Program's borrowing authority by $9.7 billion for claims payouts related to Hurricane Sandy. Insurance trade groups said they are pleased with the passage of the bill. "PCI commends Congress for making this important issue a priority at the start of the congressional session," PCI's Nat Wienecke said.
