Common core requires school-technology upgrades

School districts nationwide are preparing for the implementation of the Common Core State Standards. That includes the transition to online testing in many cases that officials say will require additional investment in infrastructure and technology. In one school district, information-technology professionals say they are focused on providing the necessary technology now and believe they can add bandwidth as needed once the program is in place.
