Competition, changing tastes challenge KFC in China

Yum! Brands' KFC has been the dominant Western quickservice chain in China, but that's changing as rivals including McDonald's and Carl's Jr. ramp up their growth plans. Additionally, consumers who once saw the ability to eat at KFC as a sign of status are changing their perceptions as they grow wealthier and more health-conscious, analysts say.
