Does breakfast in the classroom boost participation?

A Kentucky school district is serving free breakfast to students in their classrooms as part of the district's participation in the national Breakfast in the Classroom program. The 19 elementary schools selected for the program were chosen because they serve a high number of low-income students. Officials said they were hoping to increase participation by serving breakfast in the classroom, rather than in the cafeteria.
