Safety reforms are introduced in South Korea

The South Korean government introduced several reforms for state-run Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power as part of efforts to restore public trust in nuclear energy and strengthen nuclear safety, which were largely affected by the Fukushima Daiichi incident in Japan. The reforms include an extension of regular maintenance schedules for reactors and a revision of a guide on determining mechanical problems in reactors.
