Heraeus Vadnais to acquire Synovis unit for $29.5M

Synovis Life Technologies has agreed to sell its interventional unit that makes components for heart defibrillators and pacemakers to Heraeus Group division Heraeus Vadnais for $29.5 million. The sale will allow Synovis to focus on the field of soft-tissue repair, the company's CEO said.
