Low-paying jobs dominated December employment growth

The U.S. economy added 200,000 jobs in December, the Bureau of Labor Statistics said, but 44% of them were low-paying messenger, courier, restaurant and retail positions. Unemployment fell to 8.5%, from 8.7% in November.
