Revenues for mobile-health applications will remain about $100 million ahead of those for remote patient monitoring over the next few years, according to Frost & Sullivan, a research and consulting firm, which pegged mobile-health sales at $230 million in 2010. But the report, which predicts those revenues will rise to $392 million by 2015, also warned of significant regulatory, security and privacy concerns ahead for the sector.
