There's no real correlation between firms' environmental performance and their bottom-line results, according to a recent MSCI analysis. Still, some CEOs do manage to combine the two: About 5% of those examined for the study combined stellar CSR records and strong profits. "It is a rare achievement, indeed, but it is possible," the researchers write.
