TSA seeks private security for Calif., Fla. airports

On Jan. 23, the Transportation Security Administration expects to issue a request for proposals for private security firms to provide security screening at Sacramento International Airport, Orlando-Sanford International Airport and San Francisco International Airport. The Sacramento and Orlando airports are new to TSA's Screening Partnership Program, which lets private firms perform screening.
