Wake Forest device makes changing endotracheal tubes easier

Researchers with Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center have developed a prototype device that makes it easier to exchange endotracheal tubes in ICU patients. Part of the Wake Forest Innovations initiative, the goal is to get ICU staff to change tubes more often to reduce the risk of clogged mucus and infection.
