New Lantiq vectoring chip supports 100-Mbps VDSL2

Lantiq has announced the availability of a VDSL2 chip that the company says is the industry's first system-level solution able to achieve speeds of 100 Mbps using vectoring technology. The VINAX IVE1000 System-Level Vectoring Engine cuts power consumption up to 20% and eliminates cross-talk noise for up to 384 ports over bonded copper pairs.
