Sony exhibits Crystal LED TV prototype in Las Vegas

Offering an alternative to liquid-crystal display and plasma television sets, Sony this week is exhibiting a prototype 55-inch TV with what it calls Crystal LED display technology. The Crystal LED high-definition TV being shown at CES is said to have better image quality and use less electricity than other HDTVs.
