Creating more harmony between marketing and sales

If sales and marketing teams are to work together in harmony, they first have to get over misconceptions, misalignment and misleading communications, Dan Slagen writes. Harmony can be restored by holding constructive meetings where the company, not the individual department, is the focus. Consider restructuring based on the buyer persona rather than job function, and set up service level agreements to keep both sides honest.
