Cuts will proceed at Wash. fire department after labor talks fail

Labor talks between the Tacoma, Wash., Fire Department union and the city broke down Tuesday, meaning one station will close and two others will have reduced service. The city's 2013-2014 budget calls for $11 million in cuts to the Fire Department, including the loss of 30 firefighter jobs.
