Ohio school furthers emphasis on medicine in STEM

In 2011, Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School in Dayton, Ohio, was the first Catholic high school in the country to qualify for dual certification in biomedical sciences and engineering. The school is continuing to build on its program with a $4 million renovation that will convert 11 classrooms on its second floor into a department dedicated solely to science, technology, engineering, math and medicine -- STEMM.
