Survey reveals bleak mental health picture for W.Va. veterans

Half of West Virginia veterans show signs of post-traumatic stress disorder, depression or both, and 1 in 5 are at risk for suicide, according to a survey commissioned by the state legislature. The research also found higher rates of obesity, diabetes and high blood pressure among West Virginia veterans.
