Edison Mission Energy moves to cut sound levels at W.Va. wind farm

Edison Mission Energy has asked the manufacturer of the turbines at the Pinnacle Wind Farm on West Virginia's Green Mountain to install a sound-dampening system at the facility after the company received sound-related complaints from nearby residents, said EME spokesman Charley Parnell. "We realized there was an issue. We are taking everything seriously and are doing everything we can do to be a good neighbor in the community," said Parnell.
