Retailers, grocers open more health clinics

Demand for more convenient health care is prompting supermarkets and other retailers to open health clinics. The number of clinics in retail settings rose 11.2% last year, according Thomas Charland, CEO of Merchant Medicine. "You are starting to see a new-found cooperation in the marketplace between retailers and their local hospital systems and physician groups," Charland said.
