Student project looks at effects of Facebook

A high-school student in New York state conducted a three-year research project on the effects of Facebook on students. Of more than 500 students who responded to the survey, 40% reported feeling hurt by something they read on the site and 46% said they had participated in a fight on the site, senior Alexandra Mitchell found.
