Top cable channels to see more ad dollars in 2012, marketers say

Marketers plan to increase their ad expenditures during the next year on top-ranked cable networks, such as ESPN, Discovery Channel, HGTV, Food Network, History, TBS and TNT, Beta Research has found in a survey of media executives. The report also found that Discovery Networks, ESPN and ABC Sports, The Weather Channel, Scripps Networks and MTV are rated highly for their multiplatform reach.
