AirTran plans service from Chicago to Caribbean

AirTran Airways will launch service from Chicago to Jamaica and the Dominican Republic, parent company Southwest Airlines says. "AirTran and Southwest serve more than sixty destinations nonstop from Chicago and these additions open up new international options for those customers," AirTran Airways President Bob Jordan said in a statement. The flights from Midway Airport to the Caribbean will start in the spring.
