Bank survey cites more success in blocking cyberattacks

Financial institutions in the U.S. say they were more successful at fending off cyberattacks during the first half of 2012, with 9% of such attacks successfully withdrawing funds, according to a survey by the Financial Services-Information Sharing and Analysis Center. That compares with a 12% rate in 2011 and 70% in 2009, the center said.
