BIM-, GIS-experienced firms could benefit from MAP-21

Firms that are knowledgeable in both geographic information systems and building information modeling technologies and can deliver projects efficiently could benefit from the $105 billion Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act, or MAP-21, Jeffrey Yoders writes. "BIM, LIDAR, and GIS projects will be funded much more easily by the federal government than non-modeled, non-mapped projects," Yoders notes.
