Energy efficiency in the classroom: Living the green dream

Sprout Space prefabricated modular classrooms developed by architectural firm Perkins + Will will be featured at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C., in March as the firm's "first working prototype" for the museum's Green Schools exhibit. The classrooms are made from materials chosen to deliver the highest quality of indoor air quality and feature "integrated rainwater collection, photovoltaic roof panels, LED lighting coupled with lighting controls, efficient heating and cooling systems."
