Kan. students to get "Close Up" view of inauguration

Among the people gathered Jan. 21 in the nation's capital for the second inauguration of President Barack Obama will be 16 eighth- and ninth-grade students from Patton Junior High School in Fort Leavenworth, Kan. The students are participating in Close Up Inauguration 2013, a program of the Close Up Foundation that organizes trips to Washington, D.C., so students can learn firsthand about history and government.
