Nonprofit Mars One is seeking applicants for a planned one-way trip to Mars that it hopes to launch starting in 2022, although equipment missions could begin in 2016. The project would include a global reality-television show to help pick 24 astronauts, who would be shuttled to Mars in groups of four over several years.
