Many melanoma survivors still skip sunscreen

Melanoma survivors are more likely to use sunscreen properly than people who have never had cancer, but only 46.2% of survivors surveyed report frequent use, and some still use tanning beds, according to a researcher at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. "Given the high risk for new skin cancers, one would expect higher adherence," Deborah Mayer wrote.
