Precast to be used as structural component of hockey arena in Pa.

Precast concrete is set to be used as a structural element in the construction of an 8,500-seat hockey arena in Allentown, Pa. The 360,000-square-foot project will also work as a venue for music and trade shows, as well as other sporting events, according to Architect Donald Dethlefs. Work is scheduled to begin late this month.
